We ordered a size 16 for my daughter who only weighs 160 pounds. It fit perfectly in the waist area and was easily zipped up but the bodice was way too big. We new it would need altered so we weren't surprised. We were just surprised at how much it was going to need altered. Other than that it is a beautiful dress and the pockets really rock!

I am a plus size woman who allowed the covid quarantine to get to my waist line. I’m getting married on 8/22 so there is no time to lose this extra curve. But Dress me up NY was here to save the day. I was able to order a dress a week before my wedding date and received it 3 days later. That’s just the beginning... This dress!!! Let me tell you my prom dress experience up this point has been a NIGHTMARE! I went to a boutique, fell in love with this dress, out down a deposit and then they sold me dress and told me it was sold out. I literally just cried and cried, but my friend said they ordered a dress from this website and it was a really good experience. I log on and would you believe it they have my dress, in the color and in my size!
It came in the mail today and it's perfect! Its 100% the authentic Clairesse dress, it fits like it did in the store.
This dress is STUNNING. The color is amazing, it has so much depth and dimension in the color. The off the shoulder neckline is super flattering. The whole dress is really just a showstopper!

I have been looking for months for a dress for my son's wedding and absolutely LOVE this dress. With my hips I cannot have a straight cut dress and beautiful A-lines are hard to find. My daughter’s wedding is in October so I have started looking for a dress. I’m 5’4” 138 lbs but have very small hips and being 63 have a thicker middle which I am working on. Most of the dresses have been very clingy and make me look like an upside down triangle. I tried this dress on in a store in the mall. Did. It have my size so looked online and ordered it. Received it in 4 or 5 days. Ordered a size 12 according to my measurements and it fits pretty good. A little big in the busy area since I’m not very well endowed but it will be ok The gathered skirt gives me the width I need in the hip department. Will have to be hemmed but my search is over. Looking forward to being glamorous that night!!!!
